Mary Ann Wright, 50, Jamestown, KY (1971-2021)

Mary Ann Wright of Jamestown passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at home. She was 50 years old.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1pmCT on Friday, July 23, 2021, at Bernard Funeral Home, 367 N. Main St., Russell Springs, KY. Burial will follow in Kean Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 11amCT on Friday at Bernard Funeral Home, until time for the funeral services.


Mary was born on February 26, 1971, in Albany, daughter of the late Lloyd and Rosie Melton Brown. She was a homemaker who loved spending time with her grandchildren. Mary enjoyed working in her flowers and gardening. She was a member of Poplar Grove Church.

She is survived by her children, Mitchell Wright (and Lacey), of Dunnville, Heather Edmonds (and Isaac), of Russell Springs, and Jacob Wright (and Karis), of Jamestown; her brothers, Raymond Brown (and Teresa), of Albany, and Bill Brown (and Shelia), of Columbia; her sisters, Lola Cape (and Gary) of Columbia, Anna Helm, of Columbia, and Linda Brown, of Columbia; her grandchildren, Tucker Wright, Braydon Edmonds, Abigail Edmonds, Natalie Wright, Kayonna Wright, Benjamin Downs and Davonica Downs; and her former spouse, William Wright, of Dunnville.

Along with her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her brother, Danny Brown; her sister, Shirley Brown; and her brother-in-law, Marty Helm.
