Bessie Louise Withers, 75, Russell County, KY

Bessie Louise Withers, of Russell Springs, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, April 29, 2021. She was 75 years of age.

Born October 12, 1945, in Louisville, she was a daughter of the late Mackie and Louise Howard Huddleston. Bessie was a homemaker and attended Bernard Ridge Church of God. She was a loving mom and grandmother. She was known by everyone as "Granny."



Survivors include her son, Raymond (and Marline) Withers of Russell Springs; her daughter, Melissa Keith of Russell Springs; three brothers, Norman Huddleston, Stan Huddleston, and Wayne Huddleston; three sisters, Georgia Anglin, Frances Huddleston, and Carolyn Fields; three grandchildren, Brad (and Katie) Withers of Lexington, Carrie (and Jason) Harrington of Aubrey, Texas, and Laura Keith (and Cody Fields) of Columbia; and four great-grandchildren, Sylvia Withers, Bennett Withers, and Sloane Withers, of Lexington, and Alexander Harrington of Aubrey, Texas.

In addition to her parents, Bessie was preceded in death her husband, Charles Withers, who passed away January 17, 2002; and a brother, Charles Huddleston.

Graveside services will be held for family only. Burial will be in Bernard Ridge Cemetery.
