Kenneth G. Thomas, 81, Liberty, KY (1936-2018) Mr. Thomas was a longtime faithful member of Liberty First Baptist Church. He was an incredible husband and family man that loved the Lord and his church. Kenneth G. Thomas, of Liberty, KY, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018, at Casey County Hospital. He was 81 years old. The funeral service will be held at 2pmET on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at First Baptist, 300 Hustonville St., Liberty, KY, with Bro. Jimmy Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Birdie Russell Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10amET to 2pmET on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at First Baptist of Liberty. Born on December 2, 1936, in Adair County, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Ray and Venus Daughtery Thomas. Kenneth retired from General Motors. He was an Army veteran. Mr. Thomas was a longtime faithful member of Liberty First Baptist Church. He was an incredible husband and family man that loved the Lord and his church. He is survived by his loving wife, Nina Sue Roy Thomas, who he married on August 24, 1963; two sons, Berlin Thomas of Jacksonville, Florida and Dwight Warren of Campbellsville, Kentucky; a granddaughter, Jennifer Varnado; two great-granddaughters, Lily Sue and Lauren Marie. Other survivors include three brothers, Charles Thomas, Harold (Cora) Thomas and Lowell (Beth) Thomas, all of Indiana; and a sister, Leona Spaw. Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to Liberty First Baptist Church at PO Box 58, Liberty, Kentucky 42539. Arrangements are entrusted to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
