Geneva Arlene Robertson, 84, Russell County, KY (1934-2018)

May 13, 1934 ~ August 29, 2018 (Age 84)
She was a homemaker and a member of New Friendship United Baptist Church. She was a native of Russell County, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Albert & Violet Cooper Long and the widow of Elbert Robertson. With her passing, two of the six siblings born to the union of Albert & Violet Long survive. She leaves four direct living descendants. Her final resting place will be in New Friendship Cemetery.

Geneva Arlene Robertson, 84, of Russell Springs, died Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at the Fair Oaks Nursing Home in Jamestown, KY.

Graveside service for Geneva Robertson will be 10amCT, Friday August 31, 2018 at the New Friendship Cemetery, Russell Springs, KY, with Bernard Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

She was born May 13, 1934 in Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Albert & Violet Cooper Long. She died Wednesday, August 29, 2018, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 84 years, three months, and 16 days.

She was a homemaker and a member of New Friendship United Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Robertson; a son, Kelvin Robertson; and three brothers, Sam, James, & Dennis Long. Survivors are:
  • Her son: Kirby (Rita) Robertson, Russell Springs, KY

  • Her granddaughter: Sara (Jason) Brown, Russell Springs, KY

  • Her two great grandsons: Carter & Caden Brown

  • Her two brothers: Wilber Long and Jerry Long, both of Indiana
