Robert (Bob) Erskine Higginbotham, Burkesville, KY native (1931-2018)

October 10, 1931 ~ August 5, 2018 (Age 86)
He was the son of the late Daniel Webster Higginbotham & Addie (Neathery) Higginbotham. His wife Blanche (Bilbrey) Higginbotham, survives. He was a member of the Williams Chapel Church, a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Army, and a retired factory worker with Cissell Manufacturing Co. in Louisville, KY.

Robert "Bob" Erskine Higginbotham, age 86, of Parker Road in Pall Mall, TN, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2018 at the Livingston Regional Hospital, Livingston, TN.

Funeral Services was held Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 10amCT, from the Brown Funeral Chapel, 504 West Main Street, Byrdstown, TN with Bro. Andy Cope and Bro. Gary Cash officiating and burial will follow in the Chanute-Campbell Cemetery. The family received friends at the Brown Funeral Chapel in Byrdstown, TN on Monday, August 6, 2018, after 6pmCT.

He was born October 10, 1931 in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, to Daniel Webster Higginbotham & Addie (Neathery) Higginbotham. He died Sunday, August 5, 2018, in Livingston, Overton County, KY, at the age of 86 years, nine months, and 26 days.

He was a member of the Williams Chapel Church, a Veteran of the Korean War serving in the Army, and a retired factory worker with Cissell Manufacturing Co. in Louisville, KY.

He is survived by his wife, Blanche (Bilbrey) Higginbotham, and the following:
  • Two daughters - Ronda Phares (Clayton), Mary Delnegro (Brian)

  • One son - Daniel Reece Higginbotham

  • Two sisters - Vivene Cash and Ruby Gay Dyer

  • Seven grandchildren

  • Nine great grandchildren

  • Nieces, nephews, other family members and friends
He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Addie Higginbotham; two sisters, Francis Laws and Anna Kate Sells; and one brother, Gene Higginbotham.
