Mr. Rodney Earl Scott, 46, Marrowbone, Cumberland Co., KY (1972-2018)

Rodney loved mechanic work and motorcycles. He was a member of a respected South Central Kentucky family. He was the son of Elizabeth Scott, who survives, and the late Ervin Scott. His wife, Lisa Muse Scott, survives. He leaves three direct living descendants including one expected granddaughter.

Rodney Earl Scott, age 46 of Marrowbone, KY passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital, Glasgow, Barren County, KY.

Funeral service will be at 2pmCT, Monday, August 06, 2018, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Scott Pleasant Acre Cemetery in Monroe County, KY. Family requests visitation 4pm-9pmCT, on Sunday, August 05, 2018 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.

Rodney was born on March 21, 1972 in Henderson, Henderson County, KY. He was the son of Elizabeth Scott, who survives, and the late Ervin Scott. He died Friday, August 3, 2018, in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, at the age of 46 years, four months, and 13 days.

He was preceded in death by his father Ervin Scott, and one sister Kim Holbrook.

Rodney loved mechanic work and motorcycles.

Survivors include:
  • His wife- Lisa Muse Scott of Marrowbone, KY

  • His mother- Elizabeth Scott of Richland, MS

  • One daughter- Baylee Scott( and Ezekiel Turner) of Tompkinsville, KY

  • One Son- Jaxon Scott of Marrowbone, KY

  • Three Brothers- Ricky Scott, and Gary Scott both of Henderson, KY and Allen Scott of Tompkinsville, KY

  • Three Sisters- Shelia Shoemake of Russellville, KY, Stephanie Miles of Mountain Home, Utah, and Sharon Pierce of Richland, MS

  • One expected granddaughter- Wren Everleigh Turner

  • His mother-in-law- Joyce Muse of Marrowbone, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
