Mary Elizabeth Ham Ray, Casey County, KY (1932-2018) October 29, 1932 ~ July 31, 2018 (Age 85) She was a woman possessed of great inner strengths and accomplishments, a role model for those to follow. After living in Texas, Georgia and Hawaii, she moved to Liberty from Key West, Florida, in 2011. She went back to school in her 40s to achieve her goal of becoming a registered nurse, earning a bachelor's degree in nursing from West Texas State University. She was the widow of John Pearl Ray, Jr, MD, her husband of 34 years. She leaves 14 direct living descendants.
