Paz-Holley Project - thoughts from the Treasurer "It is amazing to see how God takes the widow's coin and multiplies it for use in His kingdom. Lets lift up this effort and surround this family with prayer. They have been through more than we can fathom, yet God makes beautiful things from ashes." (That note was documented about the P-H fundraiser work at the $33,000 mark. At this posting, July 30, 2018, the Paz-Holley fundraiser is moving past $73,000 on its way to $108,000 to purchase the house for the family). Click on headline for complete story By Maggie Coleman, April 2018 early in the fundraising I go to the mailbox for J.O.Y. once a week and marvel at the donations coming in to put this family of 12 into suitable housing. Here is a check from an elderly lady in Edmonton asking God to bless this work. Here is a hefty amount from a small, country church I doubt has more than 50 members. Here is a second check from a local business. The donations come in spurts--fifty dollars here, $20 there, then a check for $750, then when I run to the bank later that day I realize I am depositing $3,000! It is amazing to see how God takes the widow's coin and multiplies it for use in His kingdom. Who knew being treasurer would be such an amazing job? Lets lift up this effort in prayer and surround this family with prayer. They have been through more than we can fathom, yet God makes beautiful things from ashes. Keep giving!
