He was a truck driver. He was a native of Bartholomew County, IN, and a resident of Johnson County, IN, at the time of his death. He was a member of a large, respected family with deep roots in South Central Kentucky. He was the son of the late Norman & Earline Bennett George. His wife, Ginger Gabbard George, survives. He leaves five direct living descendants. His final resting place will be in his ancestral home county, at Morris Chapel Cemetery.

Kenny George, 58, of Greenwood, Indiana, died Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 3:50pmET, at the Greenwood Health & Living Community.

Funeral service for Kenny George will be Monday, July 30, 2018 at 12pmNoonCT/1pmET, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Junior Crawhorn officiating. Burial will be in Morris Chapel Cemetery, 46 Morris Chapel Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation after 9amCT/10amET, Monday.

He was born June 4, 1960 in Columbus, Bartholomew County, IN. He was the son of the late Norman & Earline Bennett George. He died Saturday, July 21, 2018, in Greenwood, Johnson County, IN, at the age of 58 years, one month, and 17 days.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Rick George.

He was a truck driver.

Survivors include:
  • His wife - Ginger Gabbard George of Greenwood, IN

  • Two sons - Brandon Gabbard of Greenwood, IN; Tyler Rice of Center Grove, IN

  • Two sisters - Debbie Fowler of Greensburg, IN; and Donna Smith of Edinburgh, IN

  • Three grandchildren - Abbie Rice, Payton Becker and Brody Gabbard
