He was a mechanic. He was a native of Casey County, KY, the son of the late Holis & Lula Wilcher Vanoy. His final resting place will be in Casey County, KY, at Poplar Grove Cemetery. His wife, Jo Ann Leonard Vanoy, survives. He leaves 11 direct- and one step- living descendants.

Rollin Vanoy age 72, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on Sunday July 22, 2018.

Funeral Services will be held 1pmCT/2pmET Friday July 27, 2018 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Rachel Long officiating. Visitation will be held 10amCT/11amET Friday July 27, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial will in the Poplar Grove Cemetery.



Rollin Vanoy, 72, native of Casey County, KY (1946-2018)

He was born in Liberty, Casey County, KY on March 11, 1946. He was a son of Hollis & Lula Wilcher Vanoy. He died July 22, 2018, in Indianapolis, Marion County, IN, at the age of 72 years, four months, and 11 days.

Rollin was a Mechanic.

Survivors include:
  • His spouse - Jo Ann Leonard Vanoy

  • Three daughters - Lisa and (Randy) Dobbs of Indianapolis, IN, Rebecca Jo Vanoy of Missouri and Shelly Vanoy of Indianapolis, IN

  • One stepson - Joseph Lee (Kelly) Fox of Indianapolis, IN

  • Eight grandchildren

  • One sister - Maxine Vanoy of Somerset

  • Four brothers: Coy Vanoy of Winter Park, FL; Hershel Vanoy of Texas, Howard Vanoy of Liberty, KY; and his twin Garland Vanoy of Indianapolis, IN
Preceding him in death besides his parents was a daughter, Paula Kay Vanoy.
