Kanna Diane Smith, 20, of Russell Springs, died Thursday, July 12, 2018, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY.

Funeral service for Kanna Smith will be Monday, July 16, 2018, at 2pmCT, at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Leon Simpson officiating. Visitation will be after 10amCT, Monday. Interment in the Jamestown City Cemetery, 201 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY. Bernard Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She was born April 1, 1998, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY. She was the daughter of Kevin Smith & Rachel Guffey. Kanna was a student at Somerset Community College.

Survivors include:
  • Mother: Rachel (Anthony) Scott, Russell Springs, KY

  • Father: Kevin Smith, Russell Springs, KY

  • Two sisters: Khloe Scott & Leslie (Dustin) McGowan, Russell Springs, KY

  • Three brothers: Kevin Smith Jr., Trey Scott, & Darius Scott, all of Russell Springs, KY

  • Maternal grandparents: Danny & Rita Guffey, Jamestown, KY

  • Paternal grandparents: Jerry & Debbie Wilson, Russell Springs, KY; and Jerome Helm, Burkesville, KY

  • And a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, & nephews
