He leaves 24 direct living descendants. His final resting place will be in New Friendship Cemetery in Russell Springs, KY.

Thomas Willis Thomas, 79. of Russell Springs, KY passed away on Saturday July 7, 2018, at his residence.

Funeral Services will be at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY at 1pmCT on Friday, July 13, 2018. Friends may visit after 11amCT on Friday at the funeral home. Burial in the New Friendship Cemetery in Russell Springs, KY.



Willis Thomas, 79, Russell County, KY (1938-2018)

Willis was born in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY on September 25, 1938. He was a son of the late Grace (Bryant) & Leonard Thomas. He died Saturday, July 7, 2018, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 79 years, nine months, and 12 days.

He worked as a carpenter.

He is survived by:
  • A daughter: Amber Thomas, of Russell Springs, KY

  • Four sons: Greg Thomas, of Mississippi; Anthony Thomas, of Waldon, IN; Steve and Doug Thomas, of Cincinnati, Ohio

  • A sister: Earlene Clifford, of Indianapolis, IN

  • Thirteen grandchildren

  • Six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Rick Thomas.
