He was the widower of Lora Marie Welch Cowan who preceded him in death eight days earlier. He leaves six direct living descendants.

Harold Ray Cowan 84, of Mission, Texas formerly of Adair County, KY passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018 in Mission, Texas

Cremation was chosen and burial of the cremains in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY, at a later date.



Harold Ray Cowan, 84, Mission, TX (1934-2018)

Hhe was born Adair County, KY. He was the son of the late Lomer "Cowboy" and Eva Mae Burton Cowan. He died Wednesday, June 27, 2018 in Mission, Hidalgo County, TX.

He was preceded in death by his wife Lora Marie Welch Cowan on June 19, 2018.

He is survived by:
  • One son: Charles Ray Cowan of Morris, IL

  • One daughter: Vicky Cowan of Joliet, IL

  • Four grandchildren: Amy, Aaron, Shaunte, Brittany

  • One brother: Harold (JoAnn) Welch of Kankaee, IL

  • One sister: Ann Cowan of Columbia, KY<
Cremation was chosen and burial of the cremains will be in Haven Hill Cemetery at a< later date.
