Tim Shaw, 62, Clinton, Co., KY/Monroe native (1956-2018)


He was a Christian, of the Baptist faith. He had worked for many years in the oil industry and was, at the time of his death, an employee of Keystone Foods, a career he had followed for 10 years. He was a native of Monroe County, KY, and a resident of Clinton County, KY, at the time of his death there. His final resting place will be in Smith's Grove Cemetery. He was the son of the late Russell Shaw & Vera Delphine Welch Shaw. His wife, Betty Shaw, survives. He leaves 12 direct living descendants to carry on his legacy.

The funeral service for Tim Shaw will be Monday, June 18, 2018 at 1pmCT, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with burial in Smith Grove Cemetery, Cumberland County, KY. The family requests visitation 2pm-9pmCT, Sunday, June 17, 2018, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.

Tim was born on Tuesday, March 27, 1956 in Monroe County, KY. He was the son of the late Russell Shaw & Vera Delphine Welch Shaw. He died Thursday, June 14, 2018, in Albany, Clinton County, KY, at the age of 62 years, two months, and 18 days.

He was of the Baptist faith and had worked many years in the oil industry. He was currently and employee of Keystone Foods where he had worked for ten years.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Tammy Shaw.

Survivors include:
  • His wife - Betty Shaw of Albany, KY

  • One daughter - Amanda Shaw of Albany, KY

  • Three sons - Benjamin Claywell and Anthony Shaw both of Albany, KY and Ricky Ford of Chattanooga, TN

  • One Brother - Mike(Carla)Shaw of Albany, KY

  • One sister - Schonia Dicken of Burkesville, KY

  • Eight grandchildren - Cloe Shaw, Damon Shaw, Logan Claywell, Jase Claywell, Chase Shaw, James Denney, Jazmine Shaw

  • One uncle - James Welch of Cincinnati, Ohio

  • Two aunts - Carolyn Harold of Albany, KY and Gin Evans of Spencer, TN

  • and a host of other relatives and friends
