She was a homemaker and member of the Prices Creek Baptist Church in Adair County, KY. She was the matriarch of a highly regarded family, the daughter of the late Cleophus & Zula Munday Sexton and the widow of Dillon Bragg. She leaves 21 direct living descendants. Her final resting place will be in the Bragg Cemetery in western Adair County, KY

Elsie Rothydell Bragg, age 85, of Glasgow, KY, passed away Monday, June 11, 2018 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital, Glasgow, KY.

Funeral services will be held 1pmCT, Thursday, June 14, 2018, at Prices Creek Baptist Church, 1636 Price's Creek Road in Western Adair County near Metcalfe County line. with burial in the Bragg Cemetery, 100 Bragg Cemetery Road, Adair County, KY. Visitation will be 4pm-8pmCT, Wednesday, June 13, 2018, and and after 9amCT, Thursday at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY.

She was the daughter of the late Cleophus & Zula Munday Sexton. She was born Friday, September 9, 1932. She died Monday, June 11, 2018, in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, at the age of 85 years, nine months, and two days. She was a homemaker and member of the Prices Creek Baptist Church in Adair County, KY.

She is survived by:
  • One son: Tony and wife Melissa Bragg of Edmonton, KY

  • Two daughters: Ramona and husband Jimmy Bragg of Glasgow, KY; and Sandra and husband Garry Brown of Edmonton, KY

  • One sister-in-law: Edna Sexton of Louisville, KY

  • Nine grandchildren: Julia Bragg, Beth McIvor, Melanie Forshee, Alisha Hendricks, Kelly Brown, Joanie Brown, Adam Brown, Sara Denton and Ashley Bragg

  • Nine great grandchildren
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dillon Bragg. One brother Coy Sexton and five sisters. Lois Burris, Dorothy Shirley, Maxine Bragg, Ruth Bennett and Delpha Sexton
