VFW Post 6097 First: 1st Memorial Day at new Green Hills Post

Breeding resident, decorated combat veteran Paul Smith, keynote speaker

The public is invited to our Memorial Day program on Sunday, 27 May 2018 at VFW Columbia Post 6097, 500 Greenhills Road, Columbia. The program will begin at 2:30pmCT, in the Post with our program. The speaker this year is one of our own members, Paul Smith.



Paul is a native of Texas and has lived in the Breeding community for several years. He is a retired Major from the US Marines. Paul is a decorated combat veteran during the Vietnam War and a veteran of US Embassy guard duty around the world.

Following the program inside we will be moving outside to the Memorial to place the wreaths to honor our fallen brothers and sisters. - Joe Hare, Post Commander
