She was a Licensed Practical Nurse for Cumberland County Hospital for 35 years, and a member of Burkesville First Christian Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her uncle and aunt who raised her, Horace and Willie Mae Norris; one brother, Lee Young; and two sisters, Ruby Canon, and Nina Anderson.
