Don R. Moore, 80, of Campbellsville, KY, died Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 11:38pmET, at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, KY.

Funeral service will be Sunday, May 20, 2018 at 4pmCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY with Rev. Twyman Davis officiating Burial will be in the Gradyville Community of Adair County, KY, at Moore Cemetery, 225 Prices Creek Road, Edmonton, KY Visitation after 2pmCT, Sunday, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home.

Don R. Moore, 80, Taylor County, KY/Adair native (1938-2018)

He was born May 5, 1938, in Adair County, KY. He was the son of the late Herschel & Annie Jessie Moore. He died Thursday May 17, 2018, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 80 years, 12 days.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons; Danny Ray Richardson and Dave Moore.

Don was a veteran serving in both the US Navy and US Air Force and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include:
  • One sister: Lula Belle Davis of Greensburg, KY

  • One brother: Herschel Moore, Jr. of Campbellsville, KY

  • One grandson: Levi Richardson

  • Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
