Tree totally entraps implement at Green River Lake State Park Curious things found on a Nature Hike at GRL State Park with Wayne Baxter - Album Click on headline for story with photo(s) By Wayne Baxter On a short hike in Green River Lake State Park, I spotted a section of an old drag harrow a farmer had leaned up against a tree a half century ago before he moved off the land. Closer inspection showed that the tree has grown completely around and captured the machine. I saw a sudden flash of red about a hundred feet away. I zoomed in on it and snapped one frame and it was gone. I thought I had a good cardinal picture until I saw the small tree branch an just the wrong place. A real photographer would have deleted it, but what the heck? - Wayne This story was posted on 2018-05-04 01:57:04
