Aline Burton Sweeney Brown, Jefferson Co./Adair Co. KY She was a member of an outstanding Adair County, KY family. She was the daughter of the late Elzy & Leona Sinclair Burton and formerly lived in the Christine Community of Adair County, KY. She worked as a Unit Secretary at John Muir Hospital in CA for 20 years and Norton Hospital in Louisville for 5 years. She was a life member of DAV Auxiliary Post 129 and a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church. She was an enthusiastic member of the Red Hatters. She loved gardening, cooking, animals and especially her children. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 19 years, Ivan Childers; loving husband of 40 years, Foster Sweeney and loving husband of 5 years, Harold Brown; sisters, Marcella McQueary and Elaine Cooley; brother, Vaughn Burton and son, Ralph Childers. Aline Burton Sweeney Brown, 92, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Norton Hospital. A private burial will be in Louisville Memorial Gardens at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ratterman Keenan Southwest Chapel, 4832 Cane Run Road, Louisville, KY. She was formerly of the Christine Community in Adair County, KY.
