Florice M. Larimore, 95, of the Black Gnat Community near the Green/Taylor County lines in KY, died Monday, April 30, 2018 at Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab Center.

Services will be at 3pmCT/4pmET on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Lyon- DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home, 503 E Main Street, Campbellsville, KY, with Bro. Larry Rowell officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, 200 Block of W Main Street, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be 12pmNoon-3pmCT/1pm-4pmET on Sunday May 6, 2018 at the funeral home.



Florice Larimore, 95, Black Gnat, KY (1922-2018)

Florice was born on September 14, 1922 in Green County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Samuel G. and Mary Sweeney Mears. She died Monday, April 30, 2018 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 95 years, 7 months and 16 days of age,

Also preceding her in death was her husband Harold H. "Buck" Larimore and her one and only son Michael Lee Larimore.

She spent many years prior to her retirement as a seamstress for Fruit of the Loom. She had made a profession of faith and was a long-standing member of Beech Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include
  • Her daughter-in-law, Diane Larimore Troy of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two granddaughters, Michela Larimore of Campbellsville and Leslie Larimore of Loganville, GA

  • A grandson by love, Harold Richard "P.J." Troy of Campbellsville, KY

  • Three great grandsons, Christopher Larimore, James "Sid" Larimore, Aleks Larimore, all of Georgia

  • One great granddaughter, Mackenzie Larimore of Campbellsville, KY.
