She was the matriarch of a large respected South Central Kentucky family, with the daughter of the late Robert Leslie and Hazel Emma Campbell Herron, and the widow of John Wesley Rector. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed reading the Bible and spending time with family and friends and was a homemaker. She united in marriage to John Wesley "JW" Rector, who preceded her in death. Besides her father, she was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Hunt; five brothers, Bill Herron, Roy Herron, Larry Herron, Danny Herron and James Robert Herron; and two sisters, Mary Lou Langelier and Shirley O'Banion.
