She was a factory worker and a member of Clear Fork Baptist Church. She was a native of Russell County, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of her death. She was a member of a highly respected family, the daughter of the late Lonzo & Maggie Stephens Smith, and the widow of Harold Norman.

Anna Smith Norman, 84, of Jamestown, KY, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018 at the Fair Oaks Nursing Home in Jamestown.

Funeral service for Anna Smith Norman will be at 1pmCT, Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY, with Bro. Joe Sullivan officiating. Visitation will be 10am-1pmCT, Thursday. Interment in the McBeath Cemetery. Special music will be by Robin Riddle.

She was born December 10, 1933 in Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Lonzo & Maggie Stephens Smith. She died Monday, April 9, 2018, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 84 years, three months, and 30 days.

She was a factory worker and a member of Clear Fork Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Norman; a daughter, Beverly A. "Bootie" Smith; two brothers, Lonzo Lee Smith, and Calvin Smith; and a sister, Ethel Trammel.

Survivors:
  • Two brothers: Charles M. (JoNell) Smith, and Jeffery (Patty) Smith, both of Russell Springs, KY

  • Three sisters: Glenna (J.C.) Bean, Russell Springs, KY; Doris Blair, Russell Springs, KY; and Marie Sparks, Jamestown, KY
