Linda Lawless Ashbrook, 74, Russell County, KY (1943-2018)

She was the matriarch of a large, well known, Russell County family. She leaves 33 direct living descendants. She was an animal lover who owned a very special dog, Sally.

Linda Lawless Ashbrook, 74, of Jamestown, KY passed away on Sunday April 1, 2018 at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY.

The family chose care and cremation. The H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY, was in charge of arrangements.

Linda Lawless Ashbrook, 74, Russell County, KY (1943-2018)

She was born in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, November 15, 1943. She was a daughter of the late Edith (Murray) and Virgil Lawless. She died Sunday, April 1, 2018, in Russell Springs, Russell Co., KY, at the age of 74 years, four months, and 17 days.

She is survived by:
  • Two sons: Dennis McWhorter and Phillip Ashbrook

  • Two daughters: Pam Haynes and Rita Campbell

  • Fourteen grandchildren

  • Fifteen great grandchildren

  • A special dog: Sally
She is preceded in death by her parents, two sons Wayne and Ricky McWhorter, a daughter Recie Ashbrook, and a brother Phillip Lawless.

The family chose care and cremation.
