Wallace A. Feese, 70, Adair Co., KY (1948-2018)

He was an outstanding member of an outstanding Adair County, KY family. He was the son of the late Gordon & Opal Willis Feese. His wife, Sharon Moore Feese, survives. He leaves five direct living descendants. He was a member of Egypt Christian Church, a retired lab director at Taylor Regional Hospital, where he served 37 years, had a tenure in the lab at Adair Memorial Hospital for 13 years. He was a former Adair County Magistrate, serving for two terms from District 6. He served as a board member on the Adair County Ambulance District and for the Adair County Health Department. He was also a farmer.

Wallace A. Feese, 70, of the Egypt Community of Adair County, KY, died Sunday, February 18, 2018 at 4:43pmET the University of Kentucky Medical Center Emergency Room in Lexington, KY.

The funeral service for Wallace A. Feese will be Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 1pmCT, at Egypt Christian Church, 4855 Knifley Road, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Paul Patton and Bro. Hugh Withers officiating. Burial will follow in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 4pmCT, Wednesday and from 6am-9amCT, Thursday at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, and after 10amCT, Thursday at Egypt Christian Church.

He was born January 19, 1948 in Adair County, KY. He was the son of the late Gordon & Opal Willis Feese. He died Sunday, February 18, 2018, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 70 years, 10 months, and 30 days.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Dwain Feese. Wallace was a member of Egypt Christian Church, retired lab director at Taylor Regional Hospital after 37 years and Adair Memorial Hospital for 13 years, a former Adair County Magistrate serving for two terms, served as a board member on the Adair County Ambulance district and the Adair County Health Department and a farmer.

Survivors Include:
  • His wife: Sharon Moore Feese of Columbia, KY

  • One son: Bryan Allen Feese & his wife Angie of Columbia, KY

  • One daughter: Michelle Dawn Feese of Columbia, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Dylan, Colton & Sarah

  • One brother: Gordon Willis Feese of Columbia, KY

  • Four sisters: Linda (Maxie) Smith, Robbie (Robert) Bell & Lana (Dale) Roy all of Columbia, KY; and Teresa (David) Newman of Bowling Green, KY

  • Two sisters-in-law: Barbara Feese & Sandy (Danny) Wilkinson

  • A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends

Memorials are requested to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the Multiple Myeloma Foundation. These may be left at the funeral home or the church.
