Jannie McKay, 92, Lebanon, KY (1925-2018)

Throughout her life, hard work was no stranger to Ms. Louise, having worked at General Motors, a furniture store, Holly Hill Motel and was a member of the Golden Girls. As the matriarch of the McKay family, she leaves many wonderful memories that will stay with them for years to come. As one of the children said, she liked to take the rod of correction and introduce it to the seat of understanding. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Tucker Hill Baptist Church in Lebanon. She was a native of Marion County, and a resident of the county at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Willie & Birdie Chandler Hart and the widow of Charles McKay.
