Arrests made in case of gunshots fired after LWC/CU ballgame The Taylor County Sheriff's office serves warrants, sworn out by CPD Officer Charles Greer, re: January 25, 2018 incident in Columbia, KY. Dean Adams issues statement on shooting incident that suspect was not affiliated with Lindsey Wilson College and that no LWC students or staff were hurt NOTE: Indictments/arrests/allegations are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding. By Josh Brockman, Public Information Officer Columbia Police Department, Chief Jason Cross Columbia Police can confirm that at 1:48pmET, that 23 year old Darius Dornes was arrested today in relation to the shots being fired at an altercation on Lindsey Wilson College Campus after a sporting event. Columbia Police Officer Charles Greer swore out a Warrant of Arrest for 9 counts of Wanton Endangerment 1st degree and Assault. The warrant was executed today, January 30, 2018, by the Taylor County Sheriff's Office. Jaquis Davis, age 21, was also arrested on warrants of assault charges related to the incident Both arrests were made at Campbellsville University where the Davis and Dornes are students, without incident.
