Mrs. Helen Brummett England, Green County, KY (1932-2018)

She had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of the Wofford Missionary Baptist Church in Williamsburg, KY, and was a homemaker. She was the daughter of the late James A. Brummett & Melda Morgan Brummett, and the widow of Richard Ezra England, her husband of over 36 years. She leaves 29 direct living descendants.

Mrs. Helen Brummett England, 85, Greensburg, KY, departed this life on Monday, January 22, 2018 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital, Greensburg. She was 85 years, 2 months, and 11 days of age.

The funeral services for Mrs. Helen Brummett England will be conducted at 10amCT, Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery, beside Bethlehem Baptist Church, 525 Temperance Road, Greensburg, KY. Bro. Charlie Houk officiating. Visitation is requested 4pm-8pmCT, Friday, January 26, 2018, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Saturday until time of the funeral service.



Pallbearers: Jason England, Joey England, Eric Rupe, Greg Smith, Joey Davis, and Jerry Morgan.

Honorary pallbearers: Current and former employees of Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home.

Mrs. Helen Brummett England, of Greensburg, KY, was the daughter of the late James A. Brummett & Melda Morgan Brummett. She was born on Friday, November 11, 1932 in Williamsburg, Whitley County, KY. She departed this life on Monday, January 22, 2018 in Greensburg, Green County, KY. She was 85 years, two months, and 11 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of the Wofford Missionary Baptist Church in Williamsburg, and was a homemaker.

She united in marriage to Richard Ezra England on June 14, 1958. He preceded her in death on April 16, 1995.

Survivors include:
  • Three sons and daughters-in-law: Gary and Khristy England of Summersville, KY; Junior and Nancy England of Campbellsville, KY; and Todd and Amy England of Greensburg, KY

  • Two daughters and sons-in-law: Robin and Greg Smith of Russell Springs, KY and Tammy and Joey Davis of Green County, KY

  • Two brothers and sisters-in-law: Charles and Elizabeth Brummett, and Clyde and Wilma Brummett all of Williamsburg, KY

  • Eleven grand children

  • Twelve great-grandchildren

  • One great-grandchild

  • Special family: Walt, Deana Parrott and Girls, Ann Lee, Mike Judd and Family all of Greensburg, and Nancy, Greg Smith and family of Lawrenceburg, KY

  • And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
