Maria M. Brubacker, of Liberty, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY. She was eight years young.

The funeral service will be held at 8:30amCT/9:30amET on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at Cedar Hill Mennonite Church, Liberty, KY, with Bishop James Shirk officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Mennonite Church. Visitation will be held 12pmNoonCT-2pmCT/1pm-3pmET and 4pm-6pmCT/5pm-7pmET, on Monday, January 22, 2018, at the Brubacker residence at 505 S Fork Ridge Road, Liberty, KY 42539.

Born on March 3, 2009, in Casey County, KY, she was a daughter of Andrew O. and Eva Jane Martin Brubacker. She died Thursday, January 18, 2018, in Lexington, Casey County, KY at the age of 8 years, 10 months, and seven days.

In addition to her parents, Maria is survived by:
  • Three brothers: Timothy Andrew, Neil and Makiah Brubacker

  • A sister: Doris Brubacker

  • Paternal grandparents: George and Nancy Brubacker

  • Maternal grandparents: Edward and Anna Martin

  • Her paternal great-grandparents: Ivan and Martha Oberholtzer

  • Maternal great-grandparents: Levi and Mary Newswanger

  • A step great-grandmother: Alta Martin

  • And numerous aunts, uncles and cousins
Maria is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Marcus and Lucy Martin; and paternal grandparents, Milton and Leah Brubacker.
