Freida Carol Tate age 63, of Columbia, KY passed away on Saturday January 20, 2018 at her residence.

Funeral Services will be held 12pmCT/1pmET, Monday January 22, 2018 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel,Chapel, 142 KY Hwy 49, Liberty, KY. Bro. Rocky Kirk officiating. Burial will in the Poplar Grove Cemetery in Casey County. Visitation will be held at 11amCT/12pmNoonET, Monday January 22nd, 2018 at Bartle Funeral Home.

She was born in Liberty, Casey County, KY on July 2, 1954 a daughter of Avenell Hale Irvin of Russell Springs, KY & the late Jason Mitchell Taylor. She died Saturday, January 20, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 63 years, six months, and 17 days.

Freida was the widow of Michael Lynn Tate who passed away on November 17, 2011.

Freida was a former employee for Amazon.

Additional survivors include:
  • Two sons: Jonathan Mitchell Lynn Tate and Jeffrey Wayne Tate, both of Columbia, KY.

  • Two grandchildren: Jonathan Tate and Hailey Tate

  • Two step Grandchildren: Emily McCain and Jeremy Daniels

  • Four sisters: Bonnie Frost and Debra Lynn-Scales both of Russell Springs, KY; Marsha Taylor of Louisville, KY; and Peggy Kirk of London, KY.
Besides her Father and Spouse she was preceded in death by two btrothers: Larry and Ronald Dale Taylor and two sisters: Connie and Donna Gale Taylor.
