Donald Reed, 91, Russell County, KY (1926-2018)

He had retired as President of the United Steel Workers Credit Union and an officer in the United Steel Workers Steel Union. He was the son of the late Ardeth Reed & Delbert Reed. His son Jessee Reed and his grandchildren and great grandchildren are among those left to carry on his legacy. He was a native of Cleveland, Ohio, and a resident of Russell Springs, KY, at the time of his death here.

Funeral services will be at 7pmCT, Monday January 22, 2018 at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY with Bro. Donald Reed, 91, Russell Springs, KY (1926-2018)


He was born on Friday April 09, 1926 in Cleveland, Ohio. He was the son of the late Ardeth Reed & Delbert Reed. He died Friday, January 19, 2018, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 91 years, nine months, and 11 days.

He is survived by:
  • One son: Jessee Reed, Russell Springs, KY

  • One brother Kenneth Reed, Strongsville, Ohio

  • Five grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was President of the United Steel Workers Credit Union and an officer in the United Steel Workers Steel Union.
