Toso Compton, Metcalfe Co., KY (1931-2018)

He was the son of the late Charlie and Ada Wilson Compton. He was retired from General Motors and he was of the Baptist faith.

Toso Compton, 86, of Edmonton, KY passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Metcalfe Health Care in Edmonton.

Private services will be held with burial in the Crystal Cemetery in Crystal, Indiana.

He was the son of the late Charlie and Ada Wilson Compton.

He was retired from General Motors and he was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by
  • Two sons - Gary and Tony Compton both of Edmonton.

  • One daughter - Rita Smith of Edmonton.

  • Four sisters. Clara Compton, Annie Katherine Logsdon, Barbara Sue Smith and Magdalene Poynter all of Edmonton.

  • A grandson Brian Neal Smith of French Lick, Indiana.

  • Two great grandchildren Cooper Neal Smith and Race Wheeler Smith both of French Lick.
Besides his parents Toso was preceded in death by his wife Delores a grand daughter Lisa Lynn Smith; five brothers and sisters. Robert Chandler Compton, Denzel Compton, Nettie Cromer, Flerence Herald and Elsie Nance.
