Mary Anna Williamson Goode, Russell Co., KY (1946-2018)

She was a former CNA at Liberty Care Center, Liberty, KY, and Fair Oaks Nursing Home in Jamestown, KY. She was a member of Sander's Chapel Church. Her family affectionately called her "mamaw" and she loved them dearly. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Ray & Emma Lee Cochran Williamson. She leaves 19 direct living descendants, including a son in Liberty, KY, and a daughter in Columbia, KY.

Mary Anna Williamson Goode of Jamestown, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at her home. She was 71 years of age.

Funeral services are at 1pmCT/2pmET, Saturday, January 13, 2018 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Allen Gosser and Anita Roy officiating. Burial will follow in Hiter Cemetery. Visitation will be held 11am-1pmCT/12pmNoon-2pmET, Saturday at the funeral home.



Those serving as active pallbearers are: Donnie Rich, Junior Williamson, Gary Herren, Jr., Chris McDonald, Blake Hatfield, Jordan Hatfield, Tony Poff, and Brian Padgett.

Mary's family would also like to recognize the following as honorary pallbearers: Andres, Christian, Ricky Herren, Eddie Herren, Tommy Hatfield, Kaleb Hatfield, Cody Williamson, Dustin Williamson, and Allen Poff.

Born December 11, 1946 in Chicago, Cooke County, IL she was the daughter of the late Thomas Ray & Emma Lee Cochran Williamson. She died Thursday, January 11, 2018, at the age of 71 years, one month.

Mary was a former CNA at Liberty Care Center and Fair Oaks Nursing Home in Jamestown. She was a member of Sander's Chapel Church. Her family affectionately called her "mamaw" and she loved them dearly.

Survivors include:
  • One son: Thomas (Michelle) Hatfield of Liberty, KY

  • One daughter: Emma McDonald of Columbia, KY

  • Eleven grandchildren

  • Six great-grandchildren

  • One brother: John Williamson of Liberty, KY

  • One sister: Rose Marie Waskom of Liberty, KY
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by one son, J.C. Hatfield, Jr.; one daughter, Lily June Poff; one brother, Thomas Ray Williamson, Jr.; and two sisters, Betty Wethington and Sharon Cleary.
