He was a native of Campbell County, TN, and a resident of Russell County, KY, at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Mary (Owens) & Carl Leach, and the wife of Kelly Jones Leach. He leaves 11 direct living descendants. His final resting place will be in his adopted Russell County, KY.

James Walter Leach, 55, of Jamestown, KY passed away Wednesday January 10, 2018, at Continue Care of Corbin, KY.

Funeral services for James Leach will be at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY, at 1pmCT, Saturday January 13, 2018, with Bro. Ronnie Loy officiating. Friends may visit after 11amCT, on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial in the Dixon Cemetery, Dixon Cemetery Road, Jamestown, KY.



James Leach, Russell County, KY (1962-2018)

James was born in LaFollette, Campbell County, TN on June 8, 1962. He was a son of the late Mary (Owens) & Carl Leach. He died Wednesday January 10, 2018, at Continue Care of Corbin, KY, at the age of 55 years, seven months, and two days.

He was the husband of Kelly (Jones) Leach.

He is also survived by:
  • Four daughters: Krysta Russell, Jessie Helm, Lacey (Mitchell) Wright, and Alicia (Nathan) Powers

  • Son: Joey (Tamera) Leach

  • Two sisters: Claudette (Barry) Olds and Sue (L.C.) Johnson

  • Two brothers: Morris and Randy Leach

  • Six grandchildren Cooper, Bella, Tyler, Carli, Tucker and Phoenix
He was preceded in death by his parents. Send condolences to the family of James Walter Leach
