Don C. Hale, Sr., 80, Adair County, KY (1937-2018) Mr. Hale was a member of the Charity Baptist Church and was a retired machine operator for Worthington Industries in Indiana. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, woodworking and playing cards with family. He was a member of a highly regarded South Adair County, KY, family. He was born near Chance, Adair County, KY, and was a resident of Columbia, KY, at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Everett & Edna Humes Hale, one of 10 children born to that union, three of whom now survive, as does his wife, Geraldine O'Brien Hale of Columbia, KY. He died Tuesday, January 2, 2018, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 80 years, 14 days. He was preceded in death by a son, Chris Everett Hale in 1986; two brothers, Ron Hale, and Kenny Hale; four sisters: Betty Sue Hale, Bernice Velman, Beatrice Jessee, and Ramona Rogers.
