Carlos O. Fudge, 78, Adair County, KY (1939-2018)

He was a construction worker, had worked at SKF in Glasgow, KY, and was a big University of Kentucky fan. He was a member of a large, highly regarded south Adair County, KY, family. He was the son of the late Bob & Evelyn Harvey. His wife, Barbara Jo Fudge, New Castle, IN, survives. He leaves 10 direct and 13 step living descendants. His final resting place will be in his native Adair County, KY, at Haven Hill Cemetery.

Carlos O. Fudge age 78 years of Glasgow, KY formerly of Columbia, KY & New Castle, IN, passed away Monday, January 1, 2018 at 8:25amCT, at NHC Health Care in Glasgow, KY.

Funeral service Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 1pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Jim Hunt the officiating clergy. Interment will be in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 3:30pmCT, Wednesday, January 3, 2018.



Pallbearers: Ashley Cotham, Bryson Reed, Kade Stevens, Mark Fudge, Steve Scott and Matt Dickinson.

Carlos O. Fudge, Adair Co. native/Barren Co., KY (1939-2018)


He was born on January 9, 1939 in Adair County, KY. He was the son of the late Robert W. "Bob" & Evelyn Harvey Fudge. He died Monday, January 1, 2018, in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, at the age of 78 years, 11 months, and 23 days.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Mike O. Fudge on August 8, 1992 & Ricky O. Fudge in 2014; one daughter, Lisa Kaye Fudge; and an infant grandson Jeremy Hubbard.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Jo Fudge of New Castle, IN, and the following:
  • Two daughters: Teresa (Steve) Scott of Glasgow, KY; and Jennifer Stevens of Stillwater, OK

  • One sister: Barbara (Phil) Rinke of Pensacola, FL

  • Three step-daughters: Marti, Michelle & Deborah

  • A niece: Lleslie Wilson of Columbia, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Marci (Ashley) Cotham, Megan (Matt) Dickison, Bryson Reed & Kade Stevens

  • Four great grandchildren: Adriana Cotham, Zachary Cotham, Kurt Dickson and Kole Dickison

  • Step-grandchildren: Megan, Andrea, Shania, Tayler, Allison, and Skylar

  • Four step-great grandchildren
Carlos was a construction worker, had worked at SKF in Glasgow and was a big University of Kentucky fan.
