Eddie Hutchison, Adair Co., KY (1939-2017)

He was a member of a large, highly regarded Adair County family, a farmer in his career and member of Egypt Christian Church. His family says that in lieu of flowers, donations of Gideon Bibles or to the church would be appreciated. Casket Bearers are: Larry Hutchison, Zach Hutchison, Taylor Hutchison, Danny Brockman, Mike Curry and Anthony Arnold.

Eddie Hutchison, 78, of Columbia, KY, died Sunday, December 3, 2017 at 9:23amCT at his home.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 11amCT at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Hugh Withers and Bro. Paul Patton officiating. Burial will follow in Haven Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 4pmCT on Tuesday, December 5, 2017.



Eddie Hutchison, Adair Co., KY (1939-2017)

He was born May 14, 1939, in Adair County, to the late John W. and Fannie Brockman Hutchison. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters; Billy & Bobby Hutchison, Christine Hutchison, Maxine McGruder, Ruby Wethington, Ruth Peterson and Virginia Sue Scott. He was a member Egypt Christian Church and a farmer.

Survivors include:
  • His wife- Ruth Pendleton Hutchison of Columbia

  • Two sons - Mark (Sheri) Hutchison and Randy Hutchison all of Columbia

  • One daughter - Tammy (Mark) Curry of Columbia

  • One sister - Jewell Sayre of Elizabethtown

  • Six grandchildren and one great-grandchild

  • Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
In lieu of flowers, donations of Gideon Bibles or to the Egypt Christian Church would be appreciated. These may be made at the funeral home.
