He was a member of a large, highly regarded Adair County family, a farmer in his career and member of Egypt Christian Church. His family says that in lieu of flowers, donations of Gideon Bibles or to the church would be appreciated. Funeral service will be Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 11amCT at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Hugh Withers and Bro. Paul Patton officiating. Burial will follow in Haven Hill Cemetery. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters; Billy & Bobby Hutchison, Christine Hutchison, Maxine McGruder, Ruby Wethington, Ruth Peterson and Virginia Sue Scott.
