Ronnie Lynn Tucker, 71, Knifley, KY (1946-2017)

He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War and will be accorded full military honors by Columbia Post 6097 at committal rites at Roley Cemetery, Casey Creek, KY. He was a member of a large, respected Knifley area families. He was one of nine children, five of whom now survive, of the late Lynn & Hildred Binkley Tucker.

Ronnie Lynn Tucker, 71, of Knifley, KY, died Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 1:35amET, at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Funeral service will be Sunday, December 3, 2017 at 2pmCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Butch Sherrill officiating. Burial in Roley Cemetery, 14399 Knifley Road, Casey Creek, Adair County, KY, with full military honors presented by Colulmbia VFW Post 6097. Visitation will be after 9amCT, Sunday.



Ronnie Lynn Tucker, 71, Knifley, KY (1946-2017)


He was born November 19, 1946, in Knifley, Adair County, KY. He was the son of the late Lynn & Hildred Binkley Tucker. He died Wednesday, November 29, 2017, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 71 years, 10 days.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Rose Curry & Marietta Tucker; one brother, James Tucker; and a nephew, Robbie Roution.

He was a United States Army Veteran having served in the Vietnam War.

  • Four sisters: Donna (Paul) Gabbert & Connie Jones both of Knifley, KY; Hilda (Donnie) Roution & Sheila (Paul) Roution both of Merrimac, KY

  • Eight nieces & nephews: Tammy Haines, Chad Gabbert, Tera Knight, Jennifer Bullock, Kristy Norris, Jerry W. Tucker, Misty Morgan and Kevin Jones

  • Several other relatives and friends
