Kindergarteners at CES celebrate Color Week each Thursday

By Calen McKinney

Campbellsville Elementary School kindergarten students are spending several weeks studying colors.

Students in Lisa Wiseman's, Kimberly Clark's, Nikki Price's and Leanna Cundiff's classes began celebrating Color Week recently and have continued for several weeks.

Each week, students study all about a specific color and then dress in that color on Thursday of that week.

Students read books about the color, list objects that are always that color, taste foods that are the color of the day and much more.

Eventually, students will study the colors red, yellow, blue, green, orange, white, brown, black, pink and purple.

The week of Oct. 16, 2017 the students studied the colors gray and white.
