Kenneth Harris, Taylor Co./Green Co., KY native (1936-2017)

He had retired after a 40 year career at Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville, KY. He had professed faith in Christ and attended the Lighthouse Tabernacle in Knifley, KY. His wife, Louise Wilson Harris, survives. He was the son of the late Kermis Harris & Olia Dewitt Harris French. He leaves six direct living descendants.

The funeral service will be at 12pmNoonCT/1pmET, Monday, October 23, 2017 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Bro. Bill Warren. Entombment will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 700 Old U.S. 68, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be 9am-12pmNoonCT/10am-1pmET, Monday, October 23, 2017 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.



Kenneth Harris, Taylor Co./Green Co., KY native (1936-2017)


Kenneth Harris was the son of the late Kermis Harris & Olia Dewitt Harris French. He was born August 30, 1936 in Green County, KY. He died Satuday October 21, 2107, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 81 years, one month, and 21 days.

He professed faith in Christ and attended Lighthouse Tabernacle in Knifley.

Kenneth was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom, where he served for 40 years.

He united in marriage to Louise Wilson on March 30, 1956.

Besides his wife, Louise Harris, Kenneth is survived by:
  • One daughter: Sharon Clements of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Trevis Bell and Trena DeMasi of Campbellsville, KY

  • Three great-grandchildren: Madison Bell, Mylee Bell, and Serenity Bell of Campbellsville, KY

  • His stepfather: Bill French

  • Two sisters: Leona Price and Viola Sneed of Campbellsville, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • And many other relatives and friends
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Frances Cave.
