She was a homemaker. She the daughter of the late Charlie & Mary Evelyn Mann Wilson, the widow of Eugene Ford, and the beloved matriarch of a large Adair County family, with 20 direct living descendants, spanning three generations. One sibling, Nancy Cruz of Columbia, KY, also survives.

Barbara Ford, 66, of Columbia, died Sunday, October 8, 2017 at 1amCT, at the T.J. Samson Hospital, Glasgow, KY.

Funeral service, Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 2pmCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Gene Conover officiating. Burial in Milltown Cemetery, 3190 Milltown Church Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 11amCT, Thursday.



Barbara Ford, 66, Columbia, KY (1951-2017)


She was born August 16, 1951, in Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Charlie & Mary Evelyn Mann Wilson. She died Sunday, October 8, 2017, in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, at the age of 66 years, one month, and 22 days.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Ford on February 1, 2009. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include:
  • Two daughters: Jennifer Mendoza of Casey County and Melissa Joseph of Columbia, KY

  • One sister: Nancy Cruz of Columbia, KY

  • Thirteen grandchildren

  • Five great-grandchildren
