David Cable, 65, Taylor County, KY (1951-2017) He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Meadowview Baptist Church where he served 28years working as a Custodian, Sunday School Teacher, Trustee and Deacon. He served his country honorably in the United States Army and will be accorded military honors at committal rites. After returning from his tour of duty in the army, David spent the next 45 years working at Green River Ford, Alex Montgomery and Don Franklin in the parts departments. David lived a life of dedication and devotion, a life firmly grounded in his walk with Christ as made manifest in the generosity and loyalty he gave to his relationships with his family and friends. David was deeply committed to his wife, Debbie and their son, Jason. His life was one of discipline and purpose; balanced with compassion and a fun loving, upbeat, optimistic spirit. He loved the Louisville Cardinals, Richard Petty, and Nascar. Cable & Mary Ellen Cave Cable. He was born October 13, 1951, in Taylor County, KY. He died Wednesday, October 4, 2017 in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 65 years, 11 months, and 21 days.
