Barbara N. Anders, Cumberland Co., KY (1939-2017)

Barbara was a former employee of Lake Cumberland Head Start Program for 16 years. Her real passion was serving the Lord abundantly and traveling and spending time with her late husband Baby Butch Anders, and with her two lovely sisters, Edna Rowe Newell and Louella Parish. She was a native of Cumberland County, KY, the daughter of the late Elmore Rowe & Martha Susan Rowe. She leaves 19 direct living descendants.

Barbara N. Anders was born to the late Elmore Rowe and Martha Susan Rowe on April 15, 1939 in Burkesville Kentucky. She was married to the late Baby Butch Anders. God called his lovely angel home on Sunday September 10, 2017.

Funeral service, with Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in charge of arrangements, will be Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 2pmCT, at Living Word Assembly of God, 173 Living Word Drive, Burkesville, KY. Burial in Grundy Chapel Cemetery, Burkesville, KY. Family requests visitation on Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 12pmCT until service time at 2pmCT, at Living Word Assembly of God.



Barbara N. Anders, Cumberland Co., KY (1939-2017)

Barbara N. Anders was the daughter of the late Elmore Rowe & Martha Susan Rowe. She was born on April 15, 1939, in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY. God called his lovely angel home on Sunday September 10, 2017, at the age of 78 years, four months, and 26 days.

She was the widow of Baby Butch Anders.

Barbara was a former employee of Lake Cumberland Head Start Program for 16 years. Her real passion was serving the Lord abundantly and traveling and spending time with her late husband Baby Butch Anders, and with her two lovely sisters, Edna Rowe Newell and Louella Parish.

Barbara leaves to mourn her memory:
  • Three daughters: Deborah Seay, Macieso Anders Portillo (Jose' Portillo), and Fannie S. Anders, all of Bowling Green, KY

  • Three sons: Johnny Seay of Burkesville, KY, Bishop Jose' Anders (First Lady Becky Anders) of Bowling Green, KY; and Samuel Anders of Burkesville, KY

  • Two sisters: Edna Rowe Newell and Louella Parish

  • Twelve grandchildren

  • One great grandchild

  • Special nephews: Daniel Cary Jr., and John Edwin Jones

  • Special nieces: Santha Bone, Carmon Jones and Sheila Wilburn

  • and a host of other nieces, nephews, and friends
