Ethan Marion Gaskins, 66, Metcalfe Co., KY/Adair Co. native (1951-2017) He was born in Columbia, Adair County, KY. He was a faithful member of Prices Creek Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Walter Ray Gaskins & Elsie Guffey Gaskins, who survives, as does his wife, Patricia Wilson Gaskins. He was the patriarch of an esteemed family with strong roots in Adair and Metcalfe Counties and elsewhere. He leaves eight direct living descendants. Burial will be in the Wilson Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday September 13, 2017 from 4pm-8pmCT, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY. Ethan Marion Gaskins, 66, Metcalfe Co., KY/Adair Co. native (1951-2017) Born in Columbia, Adair County, KY, Sunday, April 1, 1951, he was the son of the late Walter Ray & Elsie Guffey Gaskins of Columbia, KY, who survives. He died Sunday, September 10, 2017, in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, at the age of 66 years, five months, and nine days. He was a faithful member of Prices Creek Baptist Church.
