Jacqueline Stacy Ellis Chavez, 46, Taylor County, KY (1971-2017)

She was a native of Taylor County, KY, and a resident of Amarillo, TX. She was a member of a large, respected South Central Kentucky family. She was the daughter of Jane Ellis DeSpain and the late Marvin Ellis. Her husband, Eddie Chavez, survives. She leaves three direct living descendants.

Jacqueline Stacy Ellis Chavez, 46, of Amarillo, Texas, formerly of Campbellsville, KY, died, Sunday, August 13, 2017 in Amarillo.

Memorial service, 6pmCT/7pmET, Monday, August 21, 2017 at Campbellsville Church of the Nazarene, 912 W Main Street, Campbellsville, KY, by Bro. Dewayne Lobb. Memorial visitation 5pm-6pmCT/6pm-7pmET, Monday, August 21, 2017 at Campbellsville Church of the Nazarene. Private burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, 200 Block of W. Main Street, Campbellsville, KY.

Jacqueline Stacy Ellis Chavez was the daughter of Jane Ellis DeSpain and the late Marvin Ellis, was born April 23, 1971, in Taylor County, KY. She died, Sunday, August 13, 2017 in Amarillo, Tx, at the age of 46 years, three months, and 21 days.

She is survived by her husband, Eddie Chavez of Amarillo, TX and the following:
  • One daughter and two sons: Jazmyn Lopez and Joey Chavez of Amarillo, TX, and Nathan Davis and wife, Kristin of Campbellsville, KY

  • Her mother: Jane Ellis DeSpain and husband, Owen DeSpain of Campbellsville, KY

  • One sister: Shannon Ellis Brady of Campbellsville, KY

  • One niece: Christian Alexandria Perkins of Campbellsville, KY
Jacqueline was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Jess Ellis and Grace Ellis and maternal grandmother, Doris Smith Harvey.
