She was the daughter of the late Nolan & Cecil Burton Harmon. Her husband, Allen Vaughn, survives. She leaves 12 direct living descendants. She attended the House of Prayer in Edmonton, KY. She loved her flowers and housekeeping.

Faye Vaughn age 76 years of the Egypt community, Columbia, KY passed away Thursday August 17, 2017 at 10:50pmCT at her home.

A private graveside service will be held, and there will be no visitation.



Faye Vaughn, 76, Adair County, KY (1940-2017)

She was born on October 11, 1940, in Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Nolan & Cecil Burton Harmon. She died Thursday, August 17, 2017, at her home in the Egypt Community, Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 76years, 10 months and six days.

She was preceded in death by one son; Steven Allen Vaughn in 1963; and one sister, Millie Burton.

Survivors include: her husband:
  • Her husband: Allen Vaughn of Columbia, KY

  • One daughter: Peggy (Fred) Spoon of Columbia, KY

  • One son: Tim Vaughn of Columbia, KY

  • Three sisters: Connie (George) Card of Shepherdsville, KY; and Patricia Phillips and Helen (Roger) Kitner of Sandwich, IL

  • Two brothers: Newell (Jean) Harmon & Robert (Hoa) Harmon of Boulder Hill, IL

  • Five grandchildren

  • Five great grandchildren

  • Several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives & friends
She attended the House of Prayer in Edmonton, KY. She loved her flowers and housekeeping.
