Christine Jones Shirley, Knob Lick, Metcalfe Co., KY (1926-2017) She joined the Ebenezer Baptist Church at an early age and became secretary. She was the retired owner operator of Shirley's Highlander Laundry and Dry Cleaner. She was a member of a highly regarded North Metcalfe County family. She was the daughter of the late Chester & Lula Clark Jones and the widow of Fred D. Shirley Sr. She leaves 18 direct living descendants. Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at 11amCT, at the Ebenezer Baptist Church, 5969 Knob Lick Road, Edmonton, KY. , with Pastor Ronnie Bryant, officiating. Burial will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation will be 5pm-8pmCT, Monday, August 21, 2017, at the McMurtrey Funeral Home, 2232 Summer Shade Road, Summer Shade, KY, and on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at the Ebenezer Baptist Church from 10amCT until time of services at 11amCT.
