Anis Pearl Ritter Parrish, formerly of Beaumont, KY (1933-2017)

She was a factory worker and a member of the Refuge Church of Christ. She was a member of a highly regarded South Central Kentucky Family, the daughter of the late Corbin & Lillie Peers Ritter, and the widow of Dallas Cotton Parrish.

Anis Pearl Ritter Parrish, age 84, of Glasgow, KY, formerly of Beaumont, KY, died Monday, July 24, 2017 at T J Samson Hospital, Glasgow.

Funeral services will be Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 2pmCT, at the McMurtrey Funeral Home, 2232 Summer Shade Road, Summer Shade, KY, with Bro Gary Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the Beaumont Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home, 4pm-8pmCT, Wednesday, July 26, 2017, amd on Thursday, July 27, after 7amCT, until time of services.



Anis Pearl Ritter Parrish, formerly of Beaumont, KY (1933-2017)

Born March 17, 1933, in Kino, Barren County, KY, she was a daughter of the late Corbin & Lillie Peers Ritter and the widow of the late Dallas Cotton Parrish. She died Monday, July 24, 2017, in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, at the age of 84 years, four months, and seven days.

She was a factory worker and a member of the Refuge Church of Christ.

Survivors include:
  • Three sisters, Joyce Shaw and Vonda (Charlie) Oliver, both of Glasgow, KY; and Glenda Gassaway, Smithville, TN

  • One brother: Leroy Ritter, Glasgow, KY

  • One sister in law, Alene Ritter, Glasgow, KY

  • And several nieces and nephews

    She was preceded in death, besides her husband and parents, by four sisters, Ruth England, Alyne Smith, Betty New and Velma Hurt; and one brother, Willie D Ritter.

    In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Beaumont Cemetery.
