He died Sunday, July 23, 2017, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 88 years, two months, and eight days. Frank was a veteran of the Air Force and a retired mechanic with the Arco Oil Company. He was also a member of the Russell Springs Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Blades Black, and a daughter, Bettie Black, a brother, Clesbie Black; and a sister, Neva Bernard. Survivors are:
