Maria W. Herrea, age 99, of Liberty, KY, passed away on Wednesday June 21st, 2017 at her residence.

Graveside Services will be held 12pmNoonCT/1pmET, Tuesday June 27, 2017 at Dade South Memorial Park in Miami, Florida. Bro. Jeff Edwards officiating. Burial will be in the Dade South Memorial Park in Miami, Florida.

She was born in Colombia, South America on April 9, 1918 a daughter of the late Jose Llanos & Isabel Seberiche Llanos. She died June 21, 2017, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 99 years, two months, and 12 days. She was a seamstress and a housewife. Maria was the widow of German Herrera.

Survivors include:
  • Two sons: Wilson Herrera of Colombia, South America; and German I. Herrera of New Jersey

  • Two daughters: Carmen Edwards of Liberty, KY; and Waldetrudis DelValle of New Jersey

  • Thirteen grandchildren

  • Fifteen great grandchildren

  • One great great grandchild
Preceding her in death besides her parents and spouse was one son, George Herrera and seven siblings.
